As we’ve always believed here at Budding Entrepreneur,
learning from experienced ‘been there, done that’ entrepreneurs can prove invaluable when first starting on your road to entrepreneurial success.
One such icon has to be Doug Richards, initially shooting to fame as one of the Dragons on the first two series of Dragon’s Den before becoming a source of inspiration for the UK’s Budding Entrepreneurs.
Doug’s latest venture, School for Start-ups, is a series of working seminars designed to help entrepreneurs on the path to success in their business endeavours.
There are a range of interactive, one day seminars covering such areas as:
· Doug’s ‘Six rules for startups’
· Creating successful businesses
· Managing people
· Marketing startups
· Creating great products
During 2008, over 1,000 Budding Entrepreneurs with businesses of all natures attended Doug’s one day seminars with 90% rating the courses ‘very good/excellent’.
Government funding and grants are available for the courses (dependant on the location and stage of your business) and, additionally, Budding Entrepreneur’s readers can take advantage of our exclusive discount – either click here or enter the promotional code ‘BuddingEntrepreneur’ when booking your course at the school for startups website
As ever we’d love to hear from you after attending the seminars so please contact us here and give us your feedback.
